About Moose Made Pottery
Our Story
Moose Made Pottery features small batch wheel thrown and hand built pottery, all lovingly crafted locally. Founded by Christina, Moose Made Pottery started as a break from the life of a stay at home mom and has turned into a passion for creating beautiful pieces with a cozy, modern feel and a focus on function. Moose Made Pottery features pieces that feel good to hold, bring a smile to your face and artfully accent your home. Christina is a firm believer that things can be both functional and beautiful, and enjoys creating pieces that fit into both categories. The tactile experience of holding a handcrafted ceramic piece is unmatched, and Moose Made Pottery is passionate about bringing these pieces to life, and into your hands.
Christina is inspired by and thankful to live and create on the unceded territory of the Tsleil-Waututh, Kwikwetlem and Musquem First Nations.
Our Process
Each piece is either hand thrown on the wheel or hand built, glazed by hand, and put through two separate 24hr firings in a kiln. Attention to detail and commitment to quality ensure that each piece is of the highest standard. Creating ceramics is a labour of love, and each piece is a unique creation, with characteristics that give it a personality all its own.
